He is survived by: his children, Rose Marie Ellis of St. Joseph, Missouri, Sandra Ellis of St. Joseph, Missouri, Pamela Thompson (Andy) of St. Joseph, Missouri, Donnie Ellis Jr. (Laura) of Enterprise and Danny Ellis of St. Joseph, Missouri.; his siblings, Ronald, Bill, Loyd, Earl Ellis, Jim Thurman and Joyce McMichael; and his grandchildren, Donnie W., Jason Ellis, Heather Milborne (Shylo), Scott, Amber, Chancey, Tanyon, Deatra S., Chase Ellis, Andrea (William), Lindsey Green and Brittany Smith. He is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren.
