It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris M. Bushno (Saint Joseph, Missouri), born in DeKalb, Missouri, who passed away on April 23, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Grable and Thelma Grable (Alsup); her great grandchild Jack Price; her sisters, Laverne Maxine Long and Joan Lash; her stepfather Roy Keith; and her brothers, Wesley Grable and Billy Grable.

She is survived by : her children, Marilyn Thomas, Tom Jones, Bobby Burchett of St. Joseph and DeAnna Nowak (Bill) of DeKalb; her grandchildren, Kevin S. Thomas (Michelle) of Holden, Teri Lynn Thomas of Overland Park, Jason Nowak of Rushville, Brody Burchett (Lauren) and Dalton Burchett of St. Joseph; her niece Sheryl Marsh (Greg) of Cardiff; and her brother Dean Grable (Joan) of El Cajon. She is also survived by three nieces and five nephews and their children and grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rupp Funeral Home (6054 Pryor Ave, St Joseph, MO 64504). A graveside service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the West Lawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made to Mosaic Hospice or DeKalb Westlawn Cemetery.
