He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin "Jiggs" Llafet and Lois Llafet (George); his brother Eddie Llafet; his brother-in-law David Anderson; and his nieces, Elana Llafet and Kelly Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Beth Anderson; his daughter Kara; his son-in-law Jay Sturt; his grandchildren, London and Myles Sturt; his sisters, Betty Brandt and Bernadine Kannarr (Warren); and his siblings-in-law, Brenda Anderson, Daniel Anderson (Rosemary) and Gary Anderson (Sharon). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Cancer Society or the Children's Mercy Autism Clinic.
