With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elaine Hughes of Saint Joseph, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 21, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Elaine may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick Noonan and Helen Noonan (Kempf); her brother John Noonan; and her husband Jerry. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Dara Macan (Charles) of Overland Park, KS, Diane Pickett (Dennis) of St. Augustine, FL and Chris Hughes (Suzie) of Angier, N. C.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph Historical Society, Robidoux Row Museum, or charity of donors choice.
