It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor L. Thompson (Saint Joseph, Missouri), who passed away on February 23, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Eleanor had on those she encountered along her journey. She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Feuerbacher and Edna Feuerbacher (Porter); her husband Kenneth D. Thompson; and her brothers, Dr. John M. Feuerbacher and Dr. William P. Feuerbacher.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Vest (Russell) of St. Joseph and Daniel Thompson (Stephanie) of St. Joseph; her grandchildren, Lindsey Pace (Seth), Kyle Vest and Kaitlyn Thompson; her great grandchild Emmet Pace; and her sister Norma Feuerbacher of Euliss, Texas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as extended family.
