It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elvina Sue (Ashford) Allen of Saint Joseph, Missouri, who passed away on December 18, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Obert Ashford and Dorothy Legitta; her husband Garry Allen; and her son Greg McDowell. She is survived by: her children, Randy McDowell (Kristie), Rhonda McDowell, Jan Elder (Jeff), Brian and Mark McDowell.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
