Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Ernestine Elrod of Saint Joseph, Missouri, who passed away at the age of 105, on May 18, 2023. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Maughmer and Lena Maughmer (Nave); her former husband Oscar Fisher; her husband Herman Lloyd Elrod; her son Larry Fisher; and her brother Glen Maughmer.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Debbie Young (Scott) of Atlanta, GA. and Denise Hammonds of Willis, TX.. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggests that any memorial contributions be made to the St. Francis Xavier House of Bread.
