She was predeceased by: her parent Lottie Bailey; her daughters, Sherry Byers and Connie Rose-Scott; and her siblings, Francis Bailey, Emma May Bailey and Winona Bailey.
She is survived by: her husband Tommie Maddox; her children, Nancy Byers (Larry) of Bennington, NE, Billy Hurt, Jr. of Council Bluffs, IA and Roger Scott, Jr. of St. Joseph; and her brother Jimmie Bailey of Highland, KS. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
