He was predeceased by: his parents, Fremont Hinkle and Orlee Hinkle; and his wife Linda Faye Hinkle (Bruns). He is survived by: his children, Vicky Hinkle of Lee's Summit and Scott Hinkle (Andrea) of Lee's Summit; his grandchildren, Alexa Williams (Cole), Abriel Sutko (Bailey), Delaney Case (Issac) and Hayden Hinkle; and his great grandchildren, Remy, Scarlett and Colsen.
