He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence F. King and Josephine C. King (Gibson); his son Terry Lee; his siblings, Venita Yarbrough, C. F. "Junior" King, Virginia Seeley and Dale King; and his sister-in-law Beulah Morrison.
He is survived by: his wife Retha F. Morrison; his grandson Brandon King (Denita); his great grandchildren, Bexley and Karis King; and his sister-in-law Justina Hammond. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory (5005 Frederick Ave, Suite A, St Joseph, MO 64506). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Community Presbyterian Church.
