He was predeceased by: his parents, Wanda Thomson and William Thomson; and his brothers, William and Richard Thomson. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly "Kim" Thomson; his children, Nicole Cordonnier (Daniel) of Easton, MO, Lindsey Thomson of St. Joseph, Megan Thomson of St. Joseph and Dr. William Thomson (Mackenzie) of Omaha, NE; his siblings, Lisa Baker (Victor) of Port Orange, FL, Mark Thomson (Lisa) of Gilbert, AZ, Theresa Thomson (Bret Earwood) of Fort Worth, TX and Connie Bass (Dennis) of Aurora, CO; and his grandchildren, Sebastian, Marley, Olivia, Kashtyn, Raelynn, Remi, Ryker, Cal, Ryne and Rory. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Rupp Funeral Home (6054 Pryor Ave, St Joseph, MO 64504). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials are requested to the Disabled American Veterans.
