She was predeceased by: her parents, Fannie Trimmer (Reecer) and John Trimmer; her son Daniel Punzo; and her great grandchild Dylan Hill (Lee Avolio). She is survived by: her sister Phyllis; her children, Cheryl Phillips (Danny), Rose Sprake, Brian and Chris Punzo; and her grandchildren, Lisa Phillips, DeAnna Phillips, Canaan Punzo, Johanna Dickey (Jesse), Jennifer Escarcega, Reáne Gibson, Christina Martinez, Kameron Merritt, Adriana Martinez and Serenity Martinez.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Heaton-Bowman-Smith-Sidenfaden Chapel (3609 Frederick Ave, St Joseph, MO 64506). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of floral arrangements the memorials can be made to the donor's choice in loving memory of Grace Bruner.
