He is survived by: his sons, David Silvey (Jessica) of Kansas City, MO, Dustin Silvey (Laura) of St. Joseph and Trevor Silvey (Alithia) of St. Joseph; his brother Rickey Silvey of St. Joseph; and his grandchildren, Remi, Mavis, Delilah, Macy, Dylan and Trex.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (6054 Pryor Ave, St Joseph, MO 64504). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at the Memorial Park Cemetery (5005 Frederick Ave, St Joseph, MO 64506).
