She was predeceased by: her parents, Guadalupe Cruz-Hernandez and Rosendo Cruz-Hernandez; her husband Paul Joseph Day; her sister Monica Riley; and her grandson Paul Scott Day.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Day (Katie) of Edwards, MO and Paula Jo Cluck (Jeff) of St. Joseph, MO; her siblings, Connie Gerstner (Kathy Walker) of St. Joseph, Juanita Thompson of St. Joseph, Carmen Clinton (George) of Edwards, MO, Rosendo "Andy" (Judy), Mario (Darlene) and Ruben Hernandez; her grandchildren, Danny Day (Beth Smith), Austin Day (Billie), Hollie Cluck, Tanner Day (Brooke), Noah Day (London) and Jacob Day; and her great grandchildren, Aaliyah, Peyton, Gabby Jo, Monica, Kali, Emerson, Knox, Kye, Purdie and Araya. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (6054 Pryor Ave, St Joseph, MO 64504). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (1723 S 12th St, St Joseph, MO 64503).
