Harold Jewett Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Jewett (Saint Joseph, Missouri), born in Craig, Missouri, who passed away on May 3, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Jewett and Josephine Jewett (Backaus); his siblings, Floyd Gene, Lewis Oliver, Shirley Bailey and Joan Hearn; his niece Andrea Joan Jewett; his nephew Michael Shawn Jewett; and his grandparents, Williams, Mae Backhaus, Frank and Hattie Jewett.

He is survived by: his wife Kay Sybert; and his siblings, Collene Fields, Lloyd Wayne of St. Joseph and Guy Lavern (Phyllis Belgiere) of Parkville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Due to the COVID - 19 pandemic, private family services will be held and graveside services will be Thursday, May 7, 2020 at 1:00 p. m. at Memorial Park Cemetery.
