He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Hamm and Pearl Hamm (Wolfe); his sister Thelma Jackson; his son Harold Lee, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Lorri Hamm; and his great grandchild Adalyn Jean.
He is survived by: his wife Billie Ann McDowell; his children, Scott Hamm, Carol Schafer (Jim) and Shelley Obermier (Greg); his grandchildren, Nichole, Krista, Bryon, Chris, Joe, Shannon, Justin, Mandi and Joel; his great grandchildren, Braylan, Bryson, Landyn, Avery, Hadleigh, Haidyn, Kaylee, Sophee, Henry, Grace, Katie, Riley, Kylie, Jaylee, Brayleigh and Makinlee; and his pet Simba. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Southside Progressive Association.
