He was predeceased by: his parents, Marjorie Burke and Ivan Burke; and his granddaughter-in-law Helena Tolano-Mouncey. He is survived by: his wife Wendy Burke; his children, Theodore Burke (Theresa) and Sherry Fitch (Bryan) of Cairo, GA; his stepdaughter Tammy Mouncey (Bruce) of St. Joseph, MO; his sisters, Cindy Blim (Rick) of Olathe, KS and Marsha Higginson (Gary) of Wichita, KS; his grandchildren, Haley, Kyle and Michael Mouncey; and his great grandchild Jethro Mouncey.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Family Worship Center Church (12293 Co Rd 438, Country Club, MO 64505).
As an active member of the congregation he regularly delivered food from Second Harvest to the churches charity, Joseph's Storehouse, for many years.
