It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacqueline Joyce Detwieler of Saint Joseph, Missouri, who passed away on December 29, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Carl and Robert Carl; her husband Thomas McCallan (Paul Detwieler); her son Tom McCallan II; her sisters, Martha Canchola and Teri Noland; and her granddaughter Jackie Gutierrez.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Stallard of St. Joseph, Tony McCallan (Tabitha) of Country Club, MO, Tonya Poling (Brian) of St. Joseph and Tami McCallan of St. Joseph; her siblings, Betty Hillsman (Dave) of St. Joseph, Bernadine Clark of St. Joseph, Susie Majors of St. Joseph and Robert Carl (Teresa) of St Joseph; and her grandchildren, Brian Poling II, Dalton Poling (Jamie), Tony McCallan Jr. (Savanna), Lalo Gutierrez II, Jacob Wegenka II, Candi Stallard (Mike Ralston), Kristy McCallan, Jessica Barber (Levi), Tasha McCallan, Levi McCallan, Max McCallan and Marisa Pendergrast. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
