He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Shelton and James Monroe Shelton; his wife JoAnna Shelton; and his children, Michael Edward Shelton and Julie Marie Shelton.
He is survived by: his son Eric Shelton (Chelsee) of Pearland, TX; his sisters, Lois Ohlensehlen of St Joseph and Laura Shelton (Scott) of Lancaster, PA; his half-sister Mary Guethle of St. Joseph; and his grandchildren, Connor, Chloe, Levi, Audree and Abel Shelton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
