He is survived by: his wife Carla Zawodny; his daughter Courtney Langner (Brett) of Kansas City, MO; his brother John E. Zawodny of St. Joseph, MO; his granddaughter Livia Langner; and his aunt Josephine Eskina of Kansas City, KS. He is also survived by several cousins and numerous friends.
In honor of his memory, memorial contributions may be made to the CDH Research International Foundation, a cause deeply meaningful to our family following the loss of his two grandsons to Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH).
