It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeremy Stoke Mattice Sr. of Saint Joseph, Missouri, who passed away on August 29, 2022, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother-in-law Vyrl Cox; and his grandparents, Loretta, Ralph Bustard, Harold Hiney, Henry Mattice Sr. and Jean Mattice-Atkins.
He is survived by: his parents, Jeanette Mattice of St. Joseph and Andy Mattice; his wife Carla Mattice; his children, Jeremy "Jub" Mattice, Jr. and Cheyanne "Chey" Mattice; his grandson Legend Littlejohn; his daughter Jacie Mattice; his sister Andrea Peek (Travis) of Wetmore, KS; his sister-in-law Shirley Claycomb (Scott) of St. Joseph; his grandchildren, Adyson Green and AJ Green; and his nieces and nephews, Cameron Higgins (Passion), Dallas Cox (Amber), Dillon Cox, Dakota Cox, Cierra Butts (Kameron), Valerie Steele (Beau) and Monica Kelso. He is also survived by 8 great-nephews, 7 great-nieces and numerous cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Jeremy Mattice Memorial Fund, in care of the Rupp Funeral Home.
