He is survived by: his girlfriend Lela Thomas; his children, Jera, Lora (Jim), Tonya, Todd (Connie) and Dennis (Jennifer); and his siblings, John Collins (Phyllis), Mary Hicks, Pat Baker and Joyce McMichael (Dean). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
