It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie LaFave of Saint Joseph, Missouri, who passed away on January 30, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jule LaFave and Leona LaFave (Jackson); his daughter Dezra Lynn LaFave; his siblings, Noah LaFave, Jule LaFave, Jr., Richard LaFave, Agnes Frakes, Alean Majors, Victoria Wilson, Darlene Phelps, Phyllis Dowlen, Floyd LaFave, Rex LaFave, Clarence LaFave, Jerry LaFave and Allan LaFave; and his former wife Carolyn Rose LaFave.
He is survived by: his daughter Jamie LaFave; and his grandchildren, Brody Kerns (Meghan) and Colbie Kerns (Andrew McCamy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family.
