He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Pugh and Edna Pugh (Foote); and his sister Peggy Hart. He is survived by: his wife Ellen T. Schultz; his sister Karen Szczepanik (George); and his grandsons, Ben of St. Joseph, MO., Brady of St. Joseph, MO. and Bauer Pugh of St. Joseph, MO..

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, The Noyes Home or to Cleft Palate Children.
