He is survived by: his mother Charlene Perks (Stowell); and his siblings, Teddy Perks (Barb) of St. Joseph, Teresa Plymell (Johnny) of St. Joseph, Randy Perks (Melissa) and Leona Nickel (Matt). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family suggests memorials be given to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
