He was predeceased by: his father Charles E. Rothganger; his grandparents, George, Margaret Rothganger, Edward and Frances Shutt; his siblings-in-law, Lloyd, Leola Brown and Jennifer Brown; and his uncle Jonny Eugene Rothganger.
He is survived by: his mother Kay Rothganger (Shutt); his wife Janice LuAnn Brown; his brother Robert Rothganger (Julie); his brother-in-law Roger Brown; his cousins, Michael and Julie Rothganger; and his aunt Deanna Fluty.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers or gifts, those who wish to do so may perform a random act of kindness, as Johnny would have done, or make a donation to a charity of choice in his name.
