She was predeceased by: her parents, James Earl and Loral Mae Barton (Alexander); and her siblings, Jerry, William, Daniel, Sonny, Betty, Dorothy and Mary.

She is survived by: her significant other Clinton Benjamin Howser; her daughter Ella; her son-in-law Brett Steiner; her grandsons, Chance and Brady Steiner of St. Joseph, Missouri.; and her siblings, Margie Smith and Wilbur Barton. She is also survived by kids and her school family, her daughter, son-in-law and grandsons.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Seaton Cemetery, Perpetual Care Fund.
