With solemn reverence, we commemorate Karen Butts of Saint Joseph, Missouri, whose life came to an end on January 9, 2026 at the age of 77, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John H. Salzman and Laura Jean Harrison (Richey); her stepfather Granville Harrison; and her sister Melanie Jean Waldroff. She is survived by: her children, John Christian and Mendy A. Stephens (Shane); and her grandchildren, Nicholas, Jaxson, Bailey, Karley, Jaeson, Jacob Butts, Cassidy Routh, Luke and Jake Stephens. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, extended family, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 16th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel (3609 Frederick Ave, St Joseph, MO 64506). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
