With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Haggard Shaffer of Saint Joseph, Missouri, who passed away on April 27, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William M. Haggard and Adeline Josephine Haggard (Meers). She is survived by: her sister Barbara Dalrymple; and her nieces, Jamie McMillion (Neil) and Kristie Thompson (Jeff).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the St. Joseph Animal Shelter.
