With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Kay Anderson of Saint Joseph, Missouri, born in Marshall, Missouri, who passed away on February 24, 2023 at the age of 72. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Schmidt and Katherine Schmidt (Flair); and her pet Lily. She is survived by: her children, Kari Carver, Marla Brown and Justin Anderson (Rhonda); her grandchildren, Ashley Carver, Jeremiah Barks, Daniel Carver, Mackenzie Borchers (Morgan Jolliff), Benjamin Brown (Hannah Hill), Ryan Anderson, Blake Anderson and Hunter Anderson; and her sisters, Mary Brunkhorst and Dorothy Strack (Larry). She is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
