She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Gaul and Eursalea Gaul. She is survived by: her daughter Joanna Teubner (Leggio); her husband John Kreipe; her brother Dwight Gaul; and her sister-in-law Patty.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance (OCRA) or to Friends of the Animal Shelter of St. Joseph.
