She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Cursey and Ruth Ellen Neyhart (McLeland); her stepmother Jeannette Lancaster Neyhart; her sister Ruthelyn Neyhart; and her pet Muffin.
She is survived by: her husband Richard L. Demarest; her sons, Richard Christopher Demarest (GraceAnn), Stephen Lyle Demarest (Nichola) and Matthew Lyn Demarest (Amber); her grandchildren, Colin Richard, Joshua Stephen, Noah Alexander, Victoria Rose, Natalie Elizabeth, Isabella Hope, Charlotte Breslin and Grant Alexander Demarest; her sister Gae Clark (John); and her brother-in-law Roger Demarest. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory (5005 Frederick Ave Suite A, St Joseph, MO 64506). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Parklawn Memorial Garden Cemetery - Brookfield.
