He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Carl Gabler and Mabel Gabler (Hansen); and his sister Marlene Strodtman (Jim). He is survived by: his wife Helen Gabler; his children, Greg Gabler (Kathy), Susan Alexander (Scott) and Lisa Kent (Scott); and his grandchildren, Mike Gabler (Lacey), Krystal Lisenbee (Aaron), Josh Gabler (Tara), Tyler Kent (Kaydee) and Jordan Bergley (Chris). He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Ashland United Methodist Church (2711 Ashland Ave, St Joseph, MO 64506). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Ashland United Methodist Church.
