She was predeceased by: her parents, Bonnie Ballard and Leo "Pete" Ballard. She is survived by: her husband Gary Kerns, Jr.; her children, Brandon Ballard (Kali Wilson) of Savannah, MO, Gary Kerns, III of St. Joseph and Kitney Kerns of St. Joseph; her siblings, Kim Ellsworth (William) of King City, MO, Kellee Gromowski (Mark) of St. Joseph, Leatha Ballard of St. Joseph and Art Ballard of St. Joseph; and her grandchildren, Tucker, Cooper, Grayson and Delani. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
