He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Hardin and Doris Sowards (Neal); his stepfather Eldon; and his sister Janet Hardin. He is survived by: his significant other Marel; his children, Travis Latta, Rindy Consolver (Kyle), Megan Hoppe (Blake) and Morgan Bunch (Cody); his grandchildren, Lainey, Connor, Reid, Landon and Rowan; his siblings, Jean Rainez (Alex) and Randy Hardin (Ronilue); and his parents-in-law, Danny and Linda Sommerhauser. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations to Missouri Department of Conservation.
