He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry Wolverton and Charlotte Wolverton; and his stepmother Myrna Edwards Wolverton. He is survived by: his daughter Brandi Ashby (Gagee); his granddaughters, Scarlett and Molly Ashby of Liberty, MO; his children, Allison Beattie of St. Joseph and Nathaniel Wheat of St. Joseph; and his close friends, Kenny, Terra Metcalf, Kevin Meers and Ryan Kennedy. He is also survived by aunts and uncles, cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to help with funeral expenses to the Lance Wolverton Memorial Fund in care of the Harman Rhode Funeral Home in Wathena, Kansas.
