As Larry departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Larry may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Larry leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Haynes and Catherine Haynes (Walsh); and his brother Lonnie Haynes. He is survived by: his wife Janice L. Davis; his daughters, Tara Stroud (Buddy) and Catherine "Katie" Vanderlinden (Rob); his grandsons, Justin, Shawn, Kyle and Eric; and his pet Lexie. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory (5005 Frederick Ave Suite A, St Joseph, MO 64506). A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (5005 Frederick Ave a, St Joseph, MO 64506).
