It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of LaVaughn Ray of Saint Joseph, Missouri, who passed away on December 18, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Dwyer and Goldie Dwyer (Davis); and her sisters, Ramona McDole and Louise Kerns. She is survived by: her husband Gerald Ray; and her children, Debi Frazier (Jim), Lisa Schroeder (Steve), Mark Ray (Barb), Laurel McElvain (Craig) and Amy Schirmer (Dave). She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephew, and other relatives.
