He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Theodore and Marie Hoffmann (Buening); and his siblings, John Hoffmann, Mary Trader and Mildred Rethemeyer.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Lila Laffoon; his daughter Shelley Hamilton (Doug); and his sisters, Betty Trader and Dorothy Mercer. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery - St. Joseph (5005 Frederick Ave, Suite A, St Joseph, MO 64506).
