She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley S. Barnett and Vena M. Barnett (York); her husband Dennis Ray Brown, Sr.; and her siblings, Mary Jane Burton, Patty Ann Barnett and Wesley Barnett.
She is survived by: her children, Deanna Darling (Jeff), Tim Brown (Ronica), David Brown (Wendy) and Dennis Brown, Jr. (Kayla). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory (5005 Frederick Ave, Suite A, St Joseph, MO 64506). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
