He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John McAfee and Sophia McAfee (Polaski); his wife Helen McAfee (Dishman); his daughter Lynne Renee Gentry (McAfee); his son-in-law Jerry Gentry; his grandchildren, Jerad Gentry (Jonnelle), Jacob Gentry (Lauren), Sophia Gentry-DeVoe (Jared DeVoe) and Jameson Gentry; his great grandchild Reed DeVoe; his brother Lawrence McAfee; his grandson Joshua Gentry; and his grandfathers, Mac, Catfish and Skinner.
