As Lila Mae departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Lila Mae. Though Lila Mae may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louise Stout and Ira Stout; and her brother Lewis Stout. She is survived by: her son Christopher Deiter (Tara Murphy) of Barnard, MO; her grandchildren, Austyn and Devyn Deiter of Maryville, MO; and her brother William Stout of St. Joseph. She is also survived by 4 nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (6054 Pryor Ave, St Joseph, MO 64504). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are requested to the Patee Park Baptist Church.
