She is survived by: her mother Elvira Garcia (Gerardo Ortiz Villafuerte); her children, Vanesa Ortiz-Cruz (Efren), Mirella Ortiz-Cruz (Sebastian), Jorge Ortiz-Cruz, Gerardo Ortiz-Cruz and Jesus Ortiz-Cruz; and her siblings, Pedro Cruz-Garcia, Agustin Cruz-Garcia, Miguel Cruz-Garcia, Ana Maria Cruz-Garcia, Lurdes Cruz-Garcia and Maria Cruz-Garcia. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (6054 Pryor Ave, St Joseph, MO 64504). Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (1723 S 12th St, St Joseph, MO 64503).
