He was predeceased by: his parents, Aurora Alvarez (Garcia) and Manuel Alvarez; and his brother Ernest Alvarez. He is survived by: his sisters, Paula Alvarez and Margaret Gonzalez of Florida; and his niece Maria Rudolph (Ari) of St Joseph. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
