With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria Bravo Martinez of Saint Joseph, Missouri, who passed away on April 23, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Refugio "Mary" Bravo and Joaquin Bravo; her siblings, John Bravo, Jose Bravo, Dolores Martinez and Dorothy Aquilar; her son Robert Matthew Martinez; and her grandson Christopher Michael Sprake.
She is survived by: her husband Efren Barraza Martinez; her children, Phillip Martinez (Carol), Manuel Martinez (Mae), Luis Martinez (Janie), Christopher Martinez (Shelley) of St. Joseph, MO and Elveta Sprake of St. Joseph, MO; her godmother Maria (Linda DeVaney Wheeler); and her godson Gary Wheeler. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials are requested to the St. Patrick Catholic Church .
