She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Turner and Elsie Turner (King); and her sister Carolyn Deatherage. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Shanks; her son Jeffrey Churchill; her stepson Patrick Shanks; and her grandchildren, Cory and Heather Shanks. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
