He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernice Mark and Galen Stewart Sr. Mark; and his siblings, Galen Paul Stewart, Dennis Thomas and Mary Palmer.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Stewart, Jr. (Jennifer) of Seneca, SC, Brooke Stewart of St. Joseph, Ali Jo Stewart of St. Joseph and Melissa Cogdill (Andy) of Los Alamos, NM; his siblings, Kim Moutray (Brad) of St. Joseph, MO, Randy Stewart (Susan), Barbara Roberts of St. Joseph and Charlotte Thompson of Atchison, KS; and his great-nieces, Brandi Perry and Nicki Martinez. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
