He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Brushwood and Bernice Brushwood; his siblings, Carol Ann Brushwood, Henry, Tommy and Billy Brushwood; and his sister-in-law Martha Brushwood.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Brushwood; his children, Tom Brushwood (Jenniffer) of Elsberry, MO, Jannette Neel (J. E.) of St. Joseph, MO, Theresa Brushwood (Joe) of St. Joseph, MO, William Brushwood (Natasha) of St. Joseph, MO and Elizabeth Lippard (Clifford) of St. Joseph, MO; his siblings, Margaret Mounkes (Jim), Steven Brushwood, Fred Brushwood (Mary), Karen Hrabak (Bob), John Brushwood, Chris Brushwood, Mary Ann Parker (Rex), Ann Marie LaVar (Vic), Julie Tatro and Kathy Howard; and his close friend Bob Hagler. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephew and great nieces and nephews.
