He was predeceased by: his parents, Paulene Chrisman (Arbuckle) and Marvin Lee Chrisman; his sisters, Donna Umbenhower and Rexena Wiggins; and his in-laws, Roy L. and Sharon Coffman.
He is survived by: his son Jeremy Chrisman (Kim) of St. Joseph; his grandson Cole Chrisman of St. Joseph; his brother Jack Chrisman of Lawton, OK; his nephew Matt Umbenhower (Andrea); his niece Cathi Jo Chambers; his brother-in-law Darren Coffman; Betty Lee, Jax, Mercy, Dave and Lucky.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heaton-Bowman-Smith-Sidenfaden Chapel (3609 Frederick Ave, St Joseph, MO 64506). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be directed to either Friends of the Animal Shelter in St. Joseph, or St. Jude.
