She was predeceased by: her parents, John "Jack" Lankard and Josie Lankard (Drybread); her husband Jim Cornett; her sister Jackie Clough; her brother-in-law Charles "Pug" Clough; and her nephew Jon Clough.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Cornett (Sylvia) and Kerry Cornett (Dave Leahy) of Independence; her grandson Darrell Cornett (Magen); her children, Rachel Cornett and Shannon Cornett of St. Joseph; and her great grandchildren, Killian Cornett, Declan Cornett, Evelyn Guinn, Vivian Guinn, Alexandria Cornett, Harper Cornett and Camilla Cornett.
